Federal Training Centre, Enugu is a tertiary training institution under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
There are six Federal Training Centres across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. FTC Enugu, the fourth Centre to be established, opened in 1977. It operated from a temporary site on Chime Avenue, New Haven, until November 2004, when it moved to its permanent site at Abakaliki Road, Emene, Enugu.
The Centre’s motto and vision are “Skills for Excellent Performance.” Its mission is to provide students with core competencies that enhance their ability to perform effectively on the job.

To support a congenial environment for academic pursuits, the Centre has prepared a concise Student Information Handbook containing essential information and regulations to guide you throughout your stay at FTC Enugu. The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation will continue to advocate improved budgetary provision for the infrastructure needed to position the Centre at the forefront of institutional excellence.
